Quality medical care from birth to twenty-five.
Orchard Park Pediatrics is a friendly, growing, award winning pediatric practice founded in 1983. We are conveniently located on North Buffalo Road in Orchard Park, NY with patients from all over Western New York, Greater Buffalo and the Southern Tier. Orchard Park Pediatrics provides quality health care from birth until 25 years old. We are a well established practice with five board certified physicians, two pediatric certified nurse practitioners, and two certified physician assistants. Our goal is to help you raise a healthy and happy child from infancy to young adulthood. We pride ourselves in forming trusting relationships with families that continue to grow through the years.
We have convenient early morning, evening and weekend hours. Our providers are on call after hours seven days a week to help guide you through your child's emergencies. Same day sick appointments are always available. Call in the morning and be seen that morning. Call in the afternoon and be seen that afternoon. We have scheduled appointments so there is very little time spent sitting and waiting in the office with your sick child.
We have separate sick, well, and adolescent waiting areas. We even have an entire wing dedicated to healthy newborns. Only well infants and their well parents are allowed in this section. No siblings (well or sick), ill patients, or ill parents allowed. This provides you and your infant with a space you can feel comfortable in. Our office has ample off street parking and is handicap accessible.
The pediatricians are fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics, members of the Buffalo Pediatric Society and are active in training medical students from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. The nurse practitioners are members of the National and Western New York Associations of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Associates and are involved in training nursing and nurse practitioner students from the University at Buffalo and other local colleges. Our physician assistants are very involved in teaching pediatrics to physician assistant students though lectures and through rotations at our office. Our activities allow us to keep current on advances in pediatric medicine. This allows us to provide your family with the best and most up to date care.
We are aware that you have put your trust in us to help you monitor your child's growth and development, care for your child in times of illness and, in essence, to be partners with you in raising healthy and happy children. We take this responsibility very seriously and are honored you have chosen us as your child's pediatricians.
If your child has not had a physical at our office within the past 12 months, please call to make an appointment. We can complete forms if your physical has been within the past 12 months.
The yearly well physical allows us to monitor your child's growth and development, discuss a healthy lifestyle, and ensure up to date medical care, immunizations, and screening tests. We require a yearly physical to fill out any forms, and for your child to stay an active patient at our office in case of illness or emergency. A sports physical at your child's school is not a substitute for a full physical at our office.
We are happy to have Maggie Dreyer, LMSW-R seeing patients in our office in the evening. She will do ADHD evaluations and counselling for our patients for anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and much more. You can call our office to schedule an appointment with her.
We are pleased to announce that Tammy Hornberger, LPN has completed the training and passed the exam to become a certified asthma educator. She is available to help you in any way with asthma concerns.
